| Hi Stephanie, Well, it's been almost a month with Scruffy or the "Scruff Master" as we refer to him. He has settled in very nicely and is officially part of our household. He is very lovable, playful and loyal. He has been getting lots of exercise. Chris leaves for work at 4 am and takes him for a walk before he leaves. I walk him about 8 am and my brother takes him for an hour walk about 10 each day, not to mention he has some neighborhood pals who come to play in the yard with him. He is a big hit in our neighborhood since he his so friendly to everyone. The mailman told us if anyone was trying to break in our house, Scruffy would hold the door for them! Lol
We have been working on training him and he is very smart. He comes when called, stops and sits at the sidewalk curbs and is now mastering lay down.
I had him at the vet just for a checkup and to get his heart worm medicine. The vet said he was in very good health and was impressed with the care he has been provided with SATO. I can understand why Judy was so sad to have to part with him. I don't think I could ever do it, but please assure her, he is a city boy now and well loved and cared for. We are truly grateful for the loving home she provided him.
Thank you all for making this union possible. Janie
