Second Chance Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 tax exempt organization in the mountains of Villalba, Puerto Rico. We rely exclusively on the generosity if animal lovers who want to help make a difference. By making a donation to our rescue, you are helping us care for each animal. You are saving a life!
Food is our most urgent need! Our rescue feeds over 90 mouths daily and the cost is exceeding our grasp. It costs our shelter $50 daily, $1,500 monthly. Please make a donation today to help us take care of their most basic needs.
The island animal population is much bigger than us, but we are comforted knowing we offer hope to all that we can. On behalf of the staff, volunteers, dogs and cats, we thank you for your generous support.
Second Chance is in desperate need of volunteers to help in many different capacities including letter writing to dog walking. If you have time, we need your help! Our vision is to be a rewarding place to volunteer your time and find quality homes for each animal. We work hard to encourage a community to embrace the ethical treatment of animals.
